Cultural Heritage Management Group (CHMG) is a cultural heritage consulting firm with offices in Melbourne and Geelong, Victoria. We provide cultural heritage solutions to the public and private sectors across a range of industries including residential, infrastructure, mining and water. We maintain a small suite in Melbourne's north-east as well as administration and meeting facilities in Geelong, Victoria. 

We provide a suite of services including Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP) development, Historic Heritage Assessments (HHA), Traditional Owner Consultation and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Our staff have worked on numerous cultural heritage projects from 5 lot subdivisions of land through to Precinct Structure Plans (PSPs), historic heritage assessments and linear pipeline and shared trail Cultural Heritage Management Plans. We provide obligation free cultural heritage advice directly relevant to CHMPs and Preliminary Aboriginal Heritage Tests (PAHTs).

We are seeking suitable applicants with Honours in Archaeology or an associated discipline or applicants with extensive field / artefact analysis experience.

Spatial

CHMG has significant experience in employing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Computer-aided Design (CAD) software to the understanding and evaluation of cultural heritage projects.

We use the latest versions of ESRI suite of GIS software, Trimble products, MapInfo, Manifold and Quantum GIS.

We are currently involved in a range of  projects including PSP CHMP  compliance  work at Merrifield in  Melbourne's outer  North.

We have  worked with a range of clients including private developers and Government sectors on residential  subdivisions, linear infrastructure works and mining projects.
